Prerequisite

Telnyx account with active credit.

A phone number assigned to your SIP connection.

Registered DandyDialer account.
Step 1: Create an Outbound Voice Profile in Telnyx

Log in to Telnyx customer portal.

From the left menu, go to Settings → Outbound Voice Profiles → Create Profile.

Enter a name, for example -
Dandy Telnyx. Then click Create. -
Choose Allowed Destinations(e.g.
North America) and click Next. -
On the configuration page:
- Channel limit
-
set the number of simultaneous calls you need(for example,
5). - Max destination rate
-
leave at default or set your own cap(e.g.
$10).

Click Next.
Step 2: Create a SIP Connection in Telnyx

Go to SIP Trunking → SIP Connection → Create SIP Connection.

Name it, for example
Dandy SIP Telnyx. -
For Connection Type, choose
Credentials (username/password)and click Create. -
Configure the connection under Authentication and Routing.

Optionally, set up the webhooks if you need real-time communication events.

In Advanced Settings -
-
Set DTMF to
RFC 2833. -
Disable noise suppression.
-
Enable comfort noise if needed.
-
Click Next.
-

Under Outbound Settings, select the outbound voice profile you just made.

Set Localization Country, Channel limits and Ringback as desired. Click Next.

Assign your Telnyx number(s) -

Choose an available number and click Assign.

You will see a confirmation:
Connection updated successfully. Click Complete.

Step 3: Add the SIP Gateway (Trunk) in DandyDialer

In DandyDialer, go to SIP Gateways → Create SIP Gateway.

Give it a name such as Dandy Telnyx SIP.

Type in
sip.telnyx.comin SIP Server field.NoteCheck telnyx documentation to know more about their usable SIP server addresses. -
In Auth Type section, choose Password Based -

Set both Callee ID Format and Caller ID Format to
International with '+' prefix. -
Configure Concurrent Call Limit and Call-per-second Limit based your needs.

Finally, click Add button.
Step 4: Test the Setup

Select the newly created gateway from the table.

Click on the Test Gateway button in the sidebar.

In the pop-up, select your Call Script, Caller ID, Agent if necessary and a Phone Number (i.e.
+1-555-XXX-XXXX). -
Click on Make a Call button. You should see a progressing call log.
That’s it! Your DandyDialer account is now connected and ready to make calls with Telnyx.
